Emergency Calls


For an AFTER HOURS emergency, please call (773) 510-8739 AND follow up with an email to firstchoicejanitorialinc@gmail.com. If the problem occurs during normal business hours, please submit a maintenance request through your Tenant Portal.

PLEASE NOTE an Emergency is:

  • No heat
  • No hot water
  • A major electrical issue
  • An uncontrolled leak
  • A lock out
  • Please make note of the following information PRIOR TO CALLING the emergency number.

    For a lock out, there is a $50 charge, due at the time of service.
    Tenants may be liable for a $50 charge should they contact the emergency number for a non-emergency issue.

  • If you smell gas after business hours, please contact the emergency number for the gas company. Their contact information is provided below.
  • Evanston is served by Nicor.
